I'm Amit, founder of Lighthouse Astro, a UK-based Vedic astrologer working at the intersection of astrology, self-understanding, and real-life decision-making.

My work is grounded in years of dedicated study within a traditional lineage of astrology, alongside deep immersion in spiritual practices and personal transformation. I have had the privilege of learning from respected teachers such as Dipanshu Giri, Rahul Kaushik, Deepak Sharma, Abhiram Jyotshi, and Dr. Ujjwal Agarwal, while also drawing insight from spiritual masters including Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and Osho. This journey continues to shape both my practice and perspective.

Before this path, I built a successful career in technology, earning a first-class degree in Computer Science and Engineering and receiving multiple professional recognitions. However, as life often teaches us, material success alone does not bring fulfilment. A major health crisis became a turning point — one that led me to question everything I thought I knew. I decided to step away from external success and begin a deeper exploration of life, healing, and purpose.

This led me to study Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork). I spent time in ashrams and on pilgrimages across India, seeking a deeper understanding. From the sacred banks of Kashi to the ashrams of South India, I explored various paths in search of meaning.

It was through the guidance of wise teachers that I was introduced to Jyotish — Vedic astrology — as a profound tool for understanding life's patterns and the journey of the soul. In many ways, it became a lighthouse, offering direction amidst uncertainty.

My work today goes beyond traditional astrology.

I use Jyotish as a practical and precise framework for self-awareness, decision-making, and personal transformation. In many ways, my role is closer to that of a guide — helping you understand your patterns, navigate important life choices, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

A core part of my approach is what I call Karma Alignment Technique (KAT) — a structured way of working with your birth chart to reduce inner and outer friction in life. Rather than resisting planetary influences, this method focuses on understanding and aligning with them, so you can make more conscious decisions and utilise your inherent strengths more effectively.

This is not about changing your destiny, but about working intelligently with the patterns you are born with — so that life begins to flow with greater ease, direction, and purpose.

This approach is not designed as entertainment or quick answers. It is best suited for individuals who are ready to engage honestly with themselves and take an active role in shaping their life and direction.
